Police have intelligence, believed to be

reliable that Anking pirates are located in the Tuni

Ang groups of Islands in the S.W. corner of Bias Bay.

It is understood privately that Chinese troops will short-

ly make a sweep of the Islands, but it is anticipated that

the pirates may escape in junks. It is recommended and

request authority to offer available naval co-operation,

action being limited to preventing the pirates escaping

by sea. "Foxglove" and "Thracian", forces to be used.
